Dear Sirs:
I wanted to take time to email you concerning your crew who were working at and around the Casino Entrance Road just outside of Murphy, NC. June 24, 2015 our family was involved in a funeral procession that went past your job. Your crew (John Taylor,Randy Moore, Stephen Ray, Seth Austin, Dewayne Worley, and Casey McAninch) took time to show respect as the procession passed by removing their bright yellow hard hats and placing them over their hearts and standing reverently. This is a sincere gesture of respect for a family that they didn’t even know and speaks very highly of the type men you employ and the concern for others that your company portrays. The picture of this event will never leave my mind or those of the family during this time of duress.

Just wanted to thank the HAYNES crews (Keith Kirkpatrick-Foreman, Juan Mata, Ryan Hollifield, Jordan McCarson, Cayleb Rhodarmer, Dalton McCracken and Matthew Garrett) who helped other contractors out over the weekend in their normal areas as well as the SW zone and Piedmont Division. It was very difficult to find Duke or contractors this past weekend, but you guys stepped up again! Just wanted to let you know we live in Statesville, NC where the recent storm caused major damage to our power lines. A crew from your company came to assist our local power companies. These guys were awesome! From the moment they asked us about using our back yard as access, to the time they completed the job they were the utmost professionals! With no power, we occupied our entire afternoon & evening watching them perform their jobs safely & effectively! They worked at least 9 hours straight as hard as they could go to restore our power! They communicated great with each other and were so pleasant to all of the homeowners affected by this storm! They deserve a pat on the back for a job well done. Please let this crew know their knowledge & hard work was appreciated! You should be proud of the way this crew represented Haynes Electric! Thanks again!

“This letter is a follow up to our conversation yesterday regarding your crews that were sent to NSTAR Electric to help in Storm Nemo.

I wanted you to know that the crew was incredible to work with.  All of the guys were polite, respectful, hard working and professional.  They were always on time and very eager to work and help out.  They went above and beyond to do anything necessary to help us get customers back on line.  They worked long hours going from one job to the next and never a complaint.  They helped us restore numerous customers in hard to reach locations.

Fred did a great job at keeping contact with all crew members and organizing what crew would go where based on the job specs.  He is highly organized and very professional. He also kept in constant contact with me which is essential for communication.

I am not sure if Fred told you but we had a situation in which the phasing blueprint for the New Bedford Police Department was incorrect.  I was told by Fred and Gene that the map did not match what was actually on the pole.  I called back to headquarters and asked for the City Electrician be dispatched there as well as an internal engineer.  As it turns out both Fred and Gene were correct.  This was a big deal as the Police Station was running on a generator.  If they followed the blueprint then the Police Station would be out of power and would take approximately 20 to 30 minutes to get them back on generated power.  As you are aware we could not let this happen.  I am grateful that they restored power correctly and so was the Mayor!  Avery, Jeremy, Chuck, Homer and Ricky were also essential to this team.  They worked in the sleet rewiring the whole job.

Your other team Jerry, Darryl, Kenny, Tim & Cayleb were also instrumental in helping restore customers.  They worked extremely hard on one job in Dartmouth at a pumping station deep in the woods with one way in and one way out.  On arrival they were met with broken poles and hot wires lying all over the ground.  They quickly assessed the situation and went straight to work.  They replaced numerous poles, restrung wires and trimmed all trees ensuring that we would not have to revisit this location again.

These are just a  few examples of the numerous jobs that they worked on.  They represented your Company extremely well.  They are hard working gentleman and I thought you should know what a amazing job they did.”

I just want to extend praise and empathy for the hard work and time spent on this December storm order.  I wish we could have provided a better design order.

Christy – I admire your perseverance and strive for perfection while keying in the added CUs, not to mention the pages and pages of time, meals and materials. Excellent job!

Dillon – Admiration to for perfection for looking all these point spans and providing more than enough CUs to this job.  Plus typed CUs that make it so, so easy to read.
