Corporate Safety Department
  At M.B. Haynes, our main priority is safety for our crew and other employees at the job site. We run an extensive safety program to make sure careless accidents do not happen. Highlights of this program include:
Testing policy to insure drug-free work force - Every employee must be drug-free to work at Haynes.
Weekly "tailgate" safety meetings - Every crew runs a weekly meeting to keep on track of safety issues.
Safety incentive programs - While safety and health are their own reward, to further encourage safety we have established a point system whereby all safe workers can accumulate enough points to earn an additional one or two days vacation.

1 Full time Safety Director.
2 Pre-employment Criminal Record check.
3 New Employee Safety Orientation.
4 Written Safety Rules (that exceed OSHA requirements).
5 Monthly Safety Committee meeting with Field Representation.
6 Monthly review of All accidents.
7 Weekly Tailgate Safety meetings.
8 Job site safety inspections by Supervisors, Project Manager, Vice Presidents, Safety Specialist, and  Safety Director.
9 Hazardous Communications Program.
10 "Zero Accident" - Safety Incentive Program.
11 Monthly & Quarterly Safety Lottery.
12 Personnel trained as Trenching "Competent Persons".
13 Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program.
14 Powder Actuated Tool Training Program.
