For years I have relied on Haynes to maintain my heat pump and a/c. That time says a lot about my satisfaction with the company and its employees. Only one need has been unfulfilled recently: the replacement of a filter with odd measurements. It is available in Weaverville at only Ace Hardware, but in the past Haynes has furnished it and, I feel sure, will do so in the future.

These guys (Randy and Kent) are fabulous! They were able to diagnose an issue with our kitchen faucet, remove a crazy heavy old metal tank water filtration system and reroute the pipes in a single visit. They made me feel better about continuing to use our current hot water heater and pressure tank (both a little older but completely functional) and didn't pressure us into replacing things with more expensive models as a previous plumber had done. I felt that the price was very reasonable and look forward to utilizing their services again 🙂

We had some wild buzzing noises coming from our breaker box. Called Haynes Electric and within the hour Jared and Eric showed up. They were extremely kind and respectful, keeping me informed every step of the way. They traced the problem to a line leading to our shed and fixed it quickly. In and out in under 45 minutes. My wife and I are extremely happy with our experience. Definitely recommend!!

I’ve used Haynes Plumbing and Electrical. In both cases they were very pleasant and professional, knew what they were doing, kept me informed and completed the task quickly. I am not familiar enough with pricing in this market but the costs seemed justified based on my experience elsewhere. I’ll use them as often as necessary.

MB Haynes was an excellent company from the person that set the appointment to the two gentleman that came to install a new water heater for me- start to finish I would use them again! The men that installed my water heater were conscientious and orderly. They completed the job within a couple hours and cleaned up their mess! They even waited an additional 30 minutes until the water heater had a chance to heat up so they could test it. I trust MB HAYNES with all my plumbing needs.

Haynes made it easy to schedule came out quickly, assessed the situation, kept me informed, purchased what was needed, dug, installed what was needed, verified functionality, filled the hole back in and left the site looking good. I needed to have my heat pump / AC unit service. The technician sent me a text about 20 minutes before he was here and he was actually 30 minutes early. He was very courteous did what he needed to do in a very timely manner. Also had a vent that wasn't blowing and he went under the house and fix that also. I had this unit put in by Haynes in 2018 also had the house completely rewired and all new fixtures put in in 2018. I would highly recommend this company for any HVAC or wiring and I've also used them once for plumbing.

We had an alarming electrical issue that happened suddenly over the weekend. I was amazed to be able to reach someone at MB Haynes right away. We were warned that they would have to charge a higher rate because it was Sunday. A repair crew arrived within just a few hours, even though our roads are still terrible after Helene’s destruction. The problem was complex, especially with our solar power backup system, but Randy Moore and Sloan carefully and skillfully investigated everything until they found the problem and fixed it. It was expensive, as we were warned it would be, but worth it to have our power (and well) working again, without worrying that the house was going to burn down. Excellent work.

After a couple of poor experiences with electricians, I started calling Haynes for residential work. Never had problems. The cost is higher than others in the area, but they are always reliable, arrive when they say they will, and exceed expectations. Only once did I have to call their residential plumbers back to correct an issue that popped up 24 hours later. They fixed it and did not charge me. Highly recommended.
