Position Summary:
- Operate concrete saws (walk-behind, handheld, ring saws), core drills, jackhammers, and related demolition equipment.
- Cut and remove concrete slabs, floors, and walls to expose plumbing lines for repair, replacement, or installation.
- Measure and mark cutting lines according to plumbing layouts and project specifications.
- Assist plumbing team with trenching and preparation for pipe installation.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Remove debris and maintain a clean, organized job site.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report repair needs.
- Coordinate with plumbers, supervisors, and project managers to ensure timely completion of work.
- Protect surrounding structures and finished surfaces during cutting operations.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Previous experience in concrete cutting, demolition, or construction (plumbing environment preferred).
- Ability to operate concrete cutting and coring equipment safely and effectively.
- Understanding of construction site safety standards.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and on active renovation sites.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
